About This TeamThe Payroll team under Finance department will be within the Shared Services function and is responsible for supporting our fast-growing business attending to the needs of our employees. We provide a tremendous opportunity to learn about the various operations within lululemon, often working with cross-functional teams as key partners in strategic and operational decisions.

A day in the life

• Perform full spectrum and end to end of payroll functions and ensure monthly payroll process for new hires, terminations, salary changes, compensation and benefit payouts are executed promptly, accurately and in compliance with country statutory regulations and company policies for the markets assigned
• Close collaboration with our service providers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate salary payments to employees.
• Prepare and consolidate monthly reports and variable payroll data (e.g. retail bonus, OT allowance, salary adjustment, etc.) from systems and internal teams to service providers
• Review, validate and reconcile payroll output files from service providers to ensure accuracy
• Per the payroll calendar ensure payroll inputs reach our provider on time and ensure banking transactions are completed in accordance with pay date deadlines
• Handle payroll administration documents, related statutory filings and payments in a proper and timely manner
• Assist in year-end tax activities to ensure filings are done within statutory deadlines
• Liaise with People & Culture team, payroll vendor and tax authorities in relation to benefits, pensions, social insurance and other taxes
• Follow up with manager/employees as necessary regarding incomplete and/or inaccurate personal data
• Respond to manager/employee queries on payroll matters in a timely and professional manner
• Stay up to date on local labor laws, regulations and compliance requirements
• Assist or provide required information on internal/external audits, including payroll or country regulatory audits
• Assist on payroll related project as requested

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years experiences in a similar role
• Proficiency in English
• Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations throughout APAC countries
• Knowledge and experience using HR, Payroll and Time and Leave Management systems required.
• Experience with Ceridian Dayforce, Workday and UKG would be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel spreadsheet
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently Professional and able to keep sensitive information completely confidential
