The Role

The Chief of Staff reports directly to the founder and runs the administration of the firm and the founder's own office. On the firm side, you will oversee the full range of operations: accounting for the management companies (including working with our external tax advisors and auditors in multiple jurisdictions), HR and payroll, vendor management, and office administration.

On the executive side, you will act as the founder’s trusted right-hand: managing the founder's calendar, correspondence, and daily priorities to maximize executive focus. This is a long-term role built for growth. Beyond administration, the Chief of Staff can be involved in investor relations, compliance and other areas, with responsibility growing as ability allows.

Accounting knowledge required; experience preferred but not essential if you are able to learn.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting for the management company, working with external tax advisors and auditors in Hong Kong, Singapore and the USAHandle HR administration: payroll, employment contracts, benefits, MPF and health insurance
• Oversee daily office operations: vendors, supplies, and the presentation of the office
• Maintain the firm's filing and documentation systems
• Manage the founder's calendar, email, mail, correspondence, meetings and travel; track priorities and ensure follow-through,
• Provide personal support to the founder, including the founder's home lease and ad hoc matters
• Support investor relations: materials, scheduling, and meeting preparation
• Support compliance as needed

Requirements

• Strong academic record from a leading university; any discipline
• Willingness to learn0-10 years of work experience; early-career candidates are encouraged to apply; candidates with a proven professional track record in any field a plus
• High level of personal drive, attention to detail, able to work independently, strong self-management and an owner’s mindset
• Proficient daily use of AI tools (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini), full suite of Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office
• Comfortable on all hardware platforms or quick ability to learn (Mac, PC, Android, Raspberry Pi / Unix)
• Fluent Cantonese and English, spoken and written; functional Mandarin.
• Cantonese fluency is essential for daily correspondence, phone calls, and liaison with local vendors, banks, and authorities.

Compensation

Competitive market rate tailored to experience, reviewed on merit, with potential upside linked to Fund performance.
