The Opportunity

We are seeking a driven, tech-savvy, and environmentally passionate Sales Consultant to perform comprehensive home evaluations and deliver customer whole home solutions to homeowners.

Sales Pro, but New to Green Building? If you have a proven sales track record but lack direct experience in HVAC, insulation, or building science, don't let that hold you back. We are willing to train the right person! If you bring the sales drive, customer orientation, and passion for the environment, we’ll provide the technical expertise.

What We Provide

• 3 Months Paid Training & Certifications: We invest heavily in your growth from Day 1, covering industry certifications and full technical training.
• 100% Pre-Qualified Leads: No canvassing or cold calling. Customer appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday with motivated homeowners.
• Full Field Suite: Company car, laptop, iPad, mobile phone, and all specialized diagnostic testing equipment provided.
• Uncapped Earning Potential: Transition to a lucrative 100% commission structure post-training, supported by high ticket sizes and steady lead flow.
• Flexible Schedule: Work from home, travel directly to field appointments, and collaborate with the team just 1 day a week in our Brewster office.

Our Sales Process & Daily Operations

Our consultative approach builds trust and ensures high closing rates:

• In-Home Evaluations: Conduct an initial consultation and comprehensive evaluation in the customer’s home.
• On-the-Spot Estimates: Provide immediate proposals for insulation jobs and state-of-the-art Quilt Heat Pump systems for those customers who are looking for s specific service.
• Custom Comprehensive Solutions: For larger, complex home performance & HVAC redesigns, return within the week to present a custom-modeled solution to the homeowner.
• Schedule: All customer appointments take place Monday through Friday (no weekend appointments).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site evaluations testing insulation, weatherization, air sealing, indoor air quality, and HVAC systems.
• Use diagnostic equipment to assess home efficiency, health, and comfort issues.
• Utilize our tech stack - including Housecall Pro, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), specialized energy modeling software, and diagnostic device tools - to run field operations and generate proposals.
• Present clear, custom options that address client comfort, energy savings, and environmental impact.
• Educate homeowners on available rebates, tax credits, and financing options.

Qualifications

• Sales Experience: Strong background in in-home, B2C, trade, or consultative sales. (Experience in HVAC, home performance, or building science is a plus, but not required. We will fully train the right candidate!)
• Environmental Passion: Genuine enthusiasm for sustainability, energy efficiency, electrification, and green tech.
• Tech Savvy: Comfortable navigating digital tools, CRMs (Housecall Pro), office applications, and testing equipment apps on mobile devices.
• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into simple, persuasive value for homeowners.
• Requirements: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (required for company vehicle usage). Must be able to travel throughout our service territory (Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, or Fairfield County).
