The Per Diem STEM Professional Development Specialist position at Imagine Learning represents an exciting seasonal opportunity, ideal for educators or STEM professionals seeking supplemental income and flexible scheduling. This role is tailored for individuals who are passionate about STEM education and wish to extend their impact beyond the classroom through professional development and training.

Specialists provide content-specific support to K-12 educators by delivering engaging workshops, both virtual and onsite, aimed at integrating digital learning tools into curriculum and instruction.

The role requires designing assessments, creating individualized student learning paths, and generating insightful reports, making it essential for candidates to have a strong foundation in STEM education with a background in professional training and consulting services.

This position offers flexible, per diem schedules primarily concentrated during peak months from July through October, aligning with school district needs and allowing specialists to accept assignments that fit their availability.

Compensation is competitive with rates of $550 for full-day sessions, $150 for half-day virtual sessions, and $25 per hour for hourly activities, with adjustments for experience, location, and qualifications. The position involves approximately 10-20% local travel to school sites, requiring a valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and a clean driving record.

• Bachelor's degree
• minimum 2 years of professional development experience
• current or past teaching certification
• at least 3 years of STEM education experience
• ability to work remotely and independently
• excellent communication and presentation skills
• strong organizational and time management abilities
• valid driver's license and automobile insurance
• clean driving record for 39 months
• willingness to work flexible hours and travel overnight
• proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and online meeting platforms
