Junior Full Stack Developer (TypeScript / PHP)
Location: Remote
Type: Full-time
Salary: £30K
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 9 am-5 pm
We're seeking a practical, hands-on engineer to collaborate closely with our existing developer to support and enhance our systems, maintain web platforms, and VoIP platforms. This is a side-by-side role, where you'll collaborate day-to-day to keep our infrastructure running smoothly and help make our services even better.
You'll work on both frontend and backend projects, building new features, improving existing systems, and learning from experienced developers along the way.
● Developing and maintaining user interfaces in TypeScript (Angular)
● Building and extending backend APIs in PHP
● Collaborating with the team on design, development, and code reviews
● Writing clean, maintainable code and contributing ideas to improve the platform
● Working with Git for version control and team collaboration
You don't need years of experience , just solid fundamentals, curiosity, and enthusiasm to learn.
● Some experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern frontend framework (Angular or React)
● Basic to intermediate PHP skills
● Understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON
● Familiarity with Git
● Experience with Lumen, Laravel, or another PHP framework
● Basic understanding of MySQL or other databases
● Interest in full-stack development and building scalable web apps
● Support and mentoring from an experienced development team
● Real-world, production-level development experience
● Opportunities to grow into a mid-level role as you develop your skills
