Corporate Finance Senior Analyst

Vero Recruitment is working exclusively with a well-established, owner-led advisory firm operating from the North East of Scotland, with a genuinely international client base.

Founded by a highly experienced former CEO/CFO, the business advises shareholders, management teams and investors on transactions across the UK, Europe, North America and the Middle East. Their work spans buyside and sellside M&A, capital raises, strategic advisory and complex financial analysis, typically for PLCs, PE-backed and privately owned businesses that are leaders in their sectors.

With a strong order book and clear visibility of work well beyond 2026, the firm is now looking to add a Corporate Finance Senior Analyst to support continued growth.

The role

Working closely with the Founder and Vice President, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality corporate finance support across live transactions and advisory mandates. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to the full deal lifecycle rather than a narrow execution remit.

Key responsibilities will include

Supporting financial due diligence on acquisition targets

Preparing financial analysis and reports for buyside and sellside transactions

Assisting with Information Memorandums and supporting documentation

Building and reviewing financial models for transactions and strategic projects

Managing data rooms and supporting transaction processes

Contributing to the identification and assessment of new acquisition opportunities

Ad-hoc financial and commercial analysis for clients

The Person

Fully qualified accountant

Experience in Corporate Finance or Transaction Services would be advantageous, but not essential for the right individual. Also suits newly qualified auditors looking to move into corporate finance

Commercially minded problem-solver who enjoys getting into the detail

Comfortable working with autonomy while supporting senior stakeholders

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships

Thrives in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
