POSITION: MARKETING + SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR (20 hours/week)

BASED IN BEDFORD, NOVA SCOTIA

Beauty Pro Distribution Inc. is a growing B2B wholesale distributor of professional beauty supplies and trusted brands to the Canadian Aesthetican and Beauty industry, based in Bedford Nova Scotia. A recent acquisition welcomed LCN Canada Central + East, the master distributor of premium LCN nail brand from Germany.

POSITION OBJECTIVE

The Marketing + Content Coordinator is primarily responsible for the creation + implementation of marketing graphics and campaigns to support our beauty supply distribution business through the development and implementation of processes and systems; is a self-starter, willingness to learn, well organized, tech savvy, professional communication style, and a great personality with the desire and passion to contribute to the brands success.

AREAS OF OVERSIGHT + RESPONSIBILITIES:The role of Marketing + Content Coordinator reports and works directly with the senior management to maintain accurate and up-to-date systems. In their role, they are responsible for preparing and executing routine tasks, along with reviewing project updates on a regular basis.

Candidates for this position should have experience being proficient with computers including google docs/sheets, dropbox and gmail and proficient in social media platforms. The ability to prioritize tasks, be organized, multi-task and have excellent communication skills is essential to this role.

• Creating + scheduling social media content, ad campaigns + newsletters
• Reply to social media comments and engage with our audiences
• Create + Edit video content for social media
• Create + Distribute monthly newsletter promotional content
• Updating + maintaining our library of brand content
• Updating our website content, as required
• Help grow the social media presence of our brands
• Compile monthly marketing KPI data
• Supporting our Team with projects and tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have the ability to make decisions, prioritize tasks and problem solve
• Experience with any of these platforms are an asset, but not required - Canva, Later, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook or Shopify.
• Previous Aesthetics industry experience is an asset, but not required
• Be highly adaptable with a willingness to learn and grow with the company.
• Be self-motivated and able to work with authority and without supervision.
• Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
• Must have the ability to work under pressure and meet occasional deadlines.
• Must be able to prioritize, multi-task and have creative problem solving skills.
• This part-time role is expected to grow into a Full Time role for the right candidate

REMUNERATION

• Compensation: Ranging from $18-21.00/hour, based on experience.
