Head of Capital Markets Audit

An opportunity now exists for a talented IA individual to join this small but high performing team as the Head of Capital Markets Audit.

Overseeing one team member and contracted resources, the successful candidate is responsible for leading all assurance and advisory activities as it relates to BCI’s asset classes including fixed income, public and private equity, and infrastructure and renewable resources; Operating with significant autonomy and working closely with senior management in assigned coverage areas, the Head of Capital Markets Audit will develop a long-term strategy to ensure sufficient audit coverage and leads the execution of individual audit engagements to develop targeted, repeatable work programs appropriate for BCI.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced internal audit leader who has a track record of developing and managing stakeholder relationships, supporting and mentoring staff, and communicate findings to senior management. Experience in the investment and financial services sector is required as the candidate will need to quickly get up to speed on BCI’s objectives, risks, strategies and operations.

The successful candidate will be a highly collaborative, creative and commercially-minded relationship builder and strong communicator who brings strong project management and leadership abilities.
