Part-Time Receptionist (1 - 2 Positions Available)

Rise Health, located in the beautiful Fernwood community, is looking for 1 - 2 part-time receptionists to join our welcoming and collaborative team this fall. Training will begin in August, with positions averaging 15 - 19 hours per week. Shifts will include a combination of daytime and evening hours.

The successful candidate will

Previous customer service experience is required. Experience with JaneApp, direct billing, or working in a healthcare setting is considered an asset but is not required.

Responsibilities include

• Providing outstanding, welcoming, and supportive service to patients.
• Supporting effective communication between patients, practitioners, and team members.
• Answering and directing a high volume of phone calls and emails professionally and efficiently.
• Scheduling and managing patient appointments both in person and over the phone.
• Collecting and processing payments.
• Submitting direct billing claims and corresponding with extended health benefit providers.
• Dispensing naturopathic supplements.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records.
• Scanning, faxing, photocopying, and uploading confidential documents to patient charts.
• Faxing referrals, prescriptions, and consult requests to medical offices and specialists.
• Following up with medical offices regarding referrals and consult notes.
• Reconciling daily payments and transactions.
• Receiving deliveries and restocking clinic and treatment room supplies.
• Supporting clinic cleanliness through light cleaning, laundry, sanitizing, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
• Assisting with a variety of administrative and reception duties as needed.

Schedule, Wage & Start Date

Shifts: Approximately 2 - 3 shifts per week (15 - 19 hours/week)

• A combination of daytime, early morning, and evening shifts is required.

Wage

Starting training wage range of $19 - $22 based on directly relevant experience.
