Junior Data Engineer, Python and SQL 💰 Salary: $110,000 - 150,000 per year

📝 Rquirements

• Associates degree or equivalent training in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Physics, Bioinformatics, or related STEM fields
• Fundamental knowledge of Python, Unix, and SQL
• Basic understanding of computer vision and generative models
• Hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs)
• Strong grasp of core AI/ML principles
• Solid background in working with data pipelines, data engineering processes, and image data processing
• Experience with prompting models and interpreting their outputs
• Proven ability in model-assisted annotation or analysis tools
• Meticulous attention to detail and a knack for experimental research
• Prior experience in software development and testing, or research in human-computer interaction is preferred

👩‍💻👨‍💻 Your responsibilities are

• Collaborate with the team to design and implement human rating and semi-automated model evaluation protocols
• Conduct small-to-medium scale in-house human assessments for critical or intricate protocols on the generated content
• Work alongside engineers to pinpoint and summarize model deficiencies based on evaluations
• Assist engineers in identifying data requirements to address those deficiencies and gather such data to prepare training datasets for subsequent model training iterations
• Partner with PDO teams to expand validated evaluation protocols, ensuring effective coordination and auditing
