The Opportunity

Our client is a leading global alternative investment firm undergoing significant international growth. With thousands of employees across major financial centres and ambitious hiring plans, the business has invested heavily in building a best-in-class Talent Acquisition function that operates as a strategic partner to the investment business.

As an Investment TA specialist, you will be expected to provide market intelligence, talent mapping and hiring strategy, working directly with senior investment professionals to help shape long-term hiring decisions.

As part of the continued evolution of the function, they are looking to appoint a specialist recruiter to lead all Fixed Income and Macro hiring globally.

The Role

Reporting into the Head of Investment Recruitment, this individual will become the dedicated subject matter expert for Fixed Income recruitment across the business.

This is a genuinely strategic Talent Acquisition position, partnering with senior Portfolio Managers and investment leaders to advise on market dynamics, competitor activity and talent strategy, whilst delivering senior front-office hiring across a range of Fixed Income investment teams.

The role offers significant visibility across the investment platform and the opportunity to influence hiring strategy at a global level.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment across Fixed Income and Macro investment teams globally.
• Partner closely with senior investment stakeholders to understand long-term hiring requirements.
• Act as the internal market expert for Fixed Income talent.
• Produce talent maps, competitor analysis and market intelligence.
• Advise hiring managers on recruitment strategy, organisational design and talent availability.
• Manage a portfolio of senior front-office searches simultaneously.
• Build and maintain relationships with leading investment professionals across the market.
• Execute proactive direct sourcing where appropriate.
• Contribute to the continued evolution of the firm's investment hiring strategy.

The Individual

This opportunity is best suited to someone currently working within a specialist executive search or recruitment firm with a genuine focus on Fixed Income markets.

Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate

• Strong experience recruiting within Fixed Income, Credit and/or Macro markets.
• Ideally, exposure to buy-side investment hiring.
• An established network across front-office investment professionals.
• Credibility advising senior stakeholders on hiring strategy.
• Experience producing market mapping and talent intelligence.
• A consultative approach, combining execution with strategic advisory capability.
• A stable career history and a genuine passion for financial markets.
• Approximately 5–10 years' recruitment experience, although exceptional individuals outside of this range will be considered.

Compensation

• Base salary: $180K-$190K
• Bonus: Discretionary
