The Role

We are looking for an Associate Product Manager, Digital Platforms to join our Digital Product team during a major platform modernization journey.

This role is designed for a developing product manager who wants to build deep expertise in a complex B2B financial services platform environment. In the near term, you will support the legacy platform sunset and migration program by helping analyze current-state capabilities, document user workflows, support requirements and backlog readiness, and assess client and business impacts.

Over time, this role will help prepare the product team for the next phase of platform evolution by capturing user pain points, analyzing feedback themes, researching industry trends, and identifying future product opportunities for the post-migration roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Migration Support

Support the migration of legacy platform capabilities to the new digital platform.

Help document current-state functionality, user workflows, operational processes, and platform dependencies.

Work with Product Managers and Technology partners to translate migration needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Assist with backlog refinement, scope clarification, and delivery readiness.

Product Discovery & Domain Learning

Develop a deep understanding of independent wealth management firms, their users, workflows, operational needs, and digital platform expectations.

Learn how custody, brokerage, operations, client service, digital tools, and third-party applications intersect across the platform experience.

Support research into user needs, feedback themes, industry trends, and platform modernization opportunities.

Build a foundation for future product ownership by understanding the business, technology, client experience, and regulatory context.

Feedback Analysis & Future Roadmap Readiness

Review and categorize feedback from clients, users, service teams, and internal stakeholders.

Identify recurring pain points, workflow gaps, and opportunities for future enhancement.

Help maintain a future opportunity backlog to support 2028 roadmap planning.

Support the development of future-state journey maps and product discovery inputs.

Product Documentation & Communication

Create and maintain product documentation, journey maps, decision logs, feature notes, and supporting materials.

Summarize complex findings into clear, actionable insights for Product, Technology, and business stakeholders.

Support internal communications related to migration scope, user impacts, and product changes.

Help ensure platform decisions are well documented and aligned to the broader digital product strategy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Product Managers, Product Advisors, Technology, QA, Operations, Service, Sales, and third-party partners.

Participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog discussions, discovery sessions, and migration planning activities.

Support coordination across teams where platform dependencies, user impacts, or third-party applications are involved.

Build strong working relationships across business and technology teams.

What You Bring

1–3+ years of experience in product management, digital product, business analysis, product ownership, operations, or a related field.

Strong curiosity and ability to learn complex business domains quickly.

Strong analytical thinking and comfort working through detailed workflows, business rules, and user needs.

Ability to communicate clearly with both business and technical stakeholders.

Experience supporting digital platforms, client-facing tools, or operational systems.

Interest in B2B platforms, financial services, wealth management, brokerage, custody, or regulated environments.

Experience with Agile delivery practices and tools such as Jira, Aha!, or Confluence is an asset.

Strong documentation, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to balance near-term execution work with longer-term product learning and discovery.
