Job Description

You will be part of the Service Operations – Client Lifecycle Management and Client Relationship Management (CLM/CRM) Team, which is responsible for ensuring stable platform operations and the continuous improvement of our Avaloq software and products for our clients.

As a Business Analyst, you will act as a key link between our clients, service teams, and development organizations. You will be responsible for analysing business requirements, investigating and resolving production incidents, and ensuring the smooth operation and availability of business-critical applications.

Working closely with clients and internal stakeholders, you will help deliver high-quality solutions that address business needs and enhance the overall client experience.

In this role, you will collaborate with Software Engineers, Service Managers, Product teams, Project Delivery teams, and Client Management to identify root causes, resolve incidents, and drive continuous service improvements. You will contribute throughout the entire software lifecycle, from requirements analysis and solution design to implementation, testing, deployment, and post-production support.

• Your key tasks
• Ensure the stable and efficient operation of Avaloq Client Lifecycle Management and Client Relationship Management (CLM/CRM) solutions and related third-party applications
• Analyse and consolidate client requirements, translating business needs into functional and technical specifications
• Manage incidents and service requests end-to-end, including triage, impact analysis, troubleshooting, coordination, and resolution
• Act as a trusted point of contact for clients and stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring effective communication
• Support the onboarding of new banking services into service delivery and operational support
• Support testing activities, including functional validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Contribute to the successful delivery of product enhancements and new functionalities
• Maintain clear documentation and actively promote knowledge sharing and best practices within the team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, or significant experience in the banking or financial services industry with strong business analysis responsibilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think conceptually about complex business challenges
• Excellent communication and client-orientation skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Self-motivated, proactive, and organized working approach with a demonstrated passion for continuous learning
• Knowledge and experience in RDBMS, Oracle SQL, Oracle PL/SQLFull professional fluency in English (written and verbal)
• It would be a real bonus if you have
• Experience in application support, incident management, or service operations environments
• Knowledge of CLM, AML, KYC, onboarding, and related third-party solutions
• Familiarity with cloud environments and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of Avaloq Core with certification
• Fluency in German
