This position will be in the Sydney office.

You will play a critical advisory position on a broad range of corporate restructuring engagements for a wide and varied range of clients all over various industries, working with external stakeholders (such as business owners, investors, and lenders), and designing creative and practical solutions to assist our clients in navigating and regaining financial stability.

About the role

Organize your own restructuring and bankruptcy portfolio with the assistance of senior team members as needed.

Make creditor reports, administrator reports, liquidator statutory reports, and investigative accounting reports.

Assist senior team members with the trading of various enterprises, including the development of cash flow predictions, calculating employee entitlements, and supervising supplier/customer accountsHelp senior team members with sophisticated investigations, such as forensic tracing exercises and determining the source and use of funds.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience
• Within an insolvency team, significant experience
• Proactive, "can-do" problem-solving attitude along with analytical thinking
• A high degree of planning and time management, including the capacity to handle many projects and balance conflicting priorities
• Intermediate proficiency with computers, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Educated in a related field, such as Business, Commerce, Accounting, or Finance, or with another appropriate professional degree obtained abroad
• You will be a flexible, responsive restructuring professional with in-depth knowledge of corporate insolvency issues, and preferably, you will also be familiar with the analytical business review process and due diligence.
