Service Manager – Auckland District CourtTe Haeata/
We are seeking a leader to fill a Service Manager vacancy in the Criminal jurisdiction at the Auckland District Court on a permanent, full time basis.
This role reports to the Manager, Justice Services (Auckland Central), Criminal section.
The Service Manager's primary focus is to coach and support employees to increase capability and build a culture of high performance. The role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of services to improve operational quality and consistency across their team and wider Service Delivery Area.
We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, people leader with demonstrated skill managing diverse teams.
You will need to build and maintain effective and robust relationships with external and internal stakeholders and you will be expert at driving a high performance culture where standardisation, consistency and accountability are underpinned by the values of respect, integrity, service and excellence.Ō Pūkenga/Skills And ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will need the following skills, knowledge and experience:
Operational management experience.
Leadership skills to motivate and lead staff, to achieve targets and understand their contribution to the bigger picture.
Good track record in supporting and implementing changes to business and work processes.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholdersResilience and confidence leading in a public facing roleYou will also possess well-developed interpersonal skills which will enable you to establish good stakeholder relationships and to be able to motivate others.

Utu ā-tau/SalaryThe remuneration band for this role is $99,208 to $135,539 – while the appointing salary will be based on skills and experience, we are willing to pay higher in the band to attract strong candidates into this role.
