About the Role

Are you an experienced HR Generalist looking for a role that offers true flexibility, high autonomy, and a manageable pace? We are seeking an approachable, outgoing, and proactive HR professional to lead our client's People function and oversee light office operations.

In this role, you will work directly alongside the CEO and Senior Leadership Team, serving as the go-to expert for all things HR - from employee engagement and L&D logistics to routine payroll coordination and employee relations.

What You’ll Be DoingStrategic HR & Advisory: Partner directly with the CEO and leadership team to provide guidance on general HR initiatives, policies, and employee engagement.

Employee Relations & Compliance: Manage occasional ER cases (PIP, disciplinaries, grievances) in line with employment legislation, leveraging external legal advisory support whenever needed.L&D & Engagement: Support leadership with training development, manage performance review logistics, run annual employee engagement surveys, and oversee generous education/development budgets.

Payroll & Benefits Administration: Process monthly fixed payroll, keep track of benefit programs, and coordinate with finance on updates.

Culture & Events: Drive wellbeing initiatives and organize key company social events (e.g., summer gatherings, holiday celebrations, and bi-annual company away days).

Light Office Operations: Oversee light office administration (supplier management, occasional travel bookings, stock orders), taking up just a few hours of your month.

What We’re Looking ForExperience: 3+ years in an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner role, ideally supported by a relevant third-level HR qualification or CIPD certification.

Key Skills

• Practical experience in either Payroll Administration or Employee Relations (guidance/training provided if you need to build knowledge in one of these areas).
