Position Overview

Great business development professionals don't just generate leads—they create strategic relationships, uncover new opportunities, and help businesses achieve long-term growth.

As a Business Development Manager at Mix Tape Ventures, you'll identify new opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and help expand our portfolio of businesses into new markets. You'll work closely with executive leadership, sales, marketing, and operations to develop growth strategies that strengthen existing businesses while helping identify new avenues for expansion.

You might be researching acquisition opportunities, meeting with prospective partners, developing a market entry strategy, evaluating a new industry, or collaborating on initiatives that drive long-term revenue growth. What You'll Do

• Identify, research, and pursue new business development opportunities across multiple industries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners, customers, and key stakeholders.
• Develop strategies for entering new markets and expanding existing business opportunities.
• Research industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging market opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and executive leadership to develop growth initiatives.
• Prepare business cases, presentations, proposals, and partnership recommendations.
• Support acquisition sourcing, strategic partnerships, and joint venture opportunities when appropriate.
• Represent Mix Tape Ventures at networking events, trade shows, and industry meetings.
• Track business development activities, pipeline progress, and performance metrics.
• Contribute ideas that drive long-term revenue growth and strategic expansion.
