Supply Chain Officer

Department: Operations / Supply Chain

Reporting To: Supply Chain Manager / Operations Director

• Salary: Up to $3,500 + Variable Bonus + $100 Transport Allowance
• Working Location: Tuas View Circuit, S637360
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM + Overtime

Position Summary

The Supply Chain Officer will be responsible for managing daily supply chain activities including customer order coordination, demand planning, procurement, inventory control, vendor management, and logistics coordination.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely delivery, maintaining optimal inventory levels, improving operational efficiency, and achieving high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Coordination & Order Fulfillment

• Serve as the main point of contact for customer service teams, sales teams, and customers regarding order status and delivery updates.
• Process, verify, and monitor customer sales orders from order entry through delivery completion.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with customers and logistics providers to meet agreed lead times and service level commitments.
• Handle customer feedback, order amendments, product returns (RMA), and fulfillment issues with timely resolution.

Supply Chain Planning & Inventory Management

• Analyze customer demand, sales forecasts, and order patterns to support supply planning activities.
• Prepare and maintain Master Production Schedules (MPS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
• Monitor inventory levels, buffer stock, and reorder points to ensure material availability.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency.

Procurement & Supplier Management

• Raise and manage purchase orders (POs) according to production requirements and customer commitments.
• Source and evaluate supplier quotations, pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable material supply.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply-related issues.

Inventory & Warehouse Coordination

• Monitor inventory allocation for customer orders to prevent shortages or incorrect allocation.
• Perform regular stock checks and reconcile physical inventory against ERP records.
• Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and handling according to customer requirements.

Logistics & Shipment Coordination

• Arrange inbound and outbound shipments with logistics providers.
• Prepare shipping documents, customs clearance documents, and import/export paperwork.
• Track shipment progress and proactively communicate potential delays.
• Ensure deliveries are completed according to customer requirements.

Reporting & System Management

• Maintain accurate records of customer orders, supplier information, pricing agreements, and contracts.
• Update and manage supply chain information within ERP and inventory management systems.
• Prepare reports and support supply chain performance monitoring.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, etc.
• 2 years of experience in procurement, inventory management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Experience in manufacturing or precision engineering environments.
• Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or other inventory management systems preferred).
• APICS (CSCP/CPIM), CIPS, or relevant certifications.
