Compensation

$150,000 base salary + GP-based bonus/commission (Total earning potential: $150,000–$250,000+)

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership position working closely with company ownership, with a long-term opportunity to lead the sales organization. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys coaching teams, driving business growth, and maintaining a strong focus on profitability and customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop junior sales representatives while supporting senior sales professionals.
• Drive business growth through customer acquisition, retention, and territory expansion.
• Monitor pricing, gross profit, and overall profitability.
• Analyze sales performance and pipeline activity.
• Collaborate with operations, purchasing, and leadership teams.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and development of future sales talent.

Required Qualifications

• 5–10 years of Chemical Distribution sales experience (Mandatory)
• Previous sales leadership, team management, or mentoring experience.
• Strong understanding of margin management and profitability.
• Proven track record in business development and customer relationship management.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen.
• Must be currently based in California or willing to relocate.
