A Brief Overview

The Physical Environment Program Manager is a demonstrated leader with abilities to work independently as well as a strategic thought partner to all levels of enterprise leadership including executive level sponsors.

The Program Manager partners in developing, coordinating, and monitoring completion of activities that are undertaken within departmental and divisional systems to ensure a safe physical environment that is regulatory compliant at all times.

The Program Manager collaborates with NCCS leadership to ensure clinical processes support the physical environment goals on a daily basis and collaborates with Service Department Leaders (SDL) to ensure operational processes meet program expectations.

What you will do

• 1. Contributes to and implements the mission and vision for the Physical Environment (PE) program via annual charter.
• 2. Leads efforts to meet regulatory preparedness at all times while strive for optimal outcomes with any survey.
• 3. Champions the physical environment program across the enterprise, promoting program visibility and advocating for program goals.
• 4. Uses data to drive improvement.
• 5. Provides mentorship to PE Program team members in project management skill sets, including project documentation, communications and stakeholder engagement.
• 6. Facilitates the Physical Environment Committee (PEC) and Chairs the Enterprise Physical Environment Council (EPEC) meetings.
• 7. Collaborates and supports the Behavioral Health Physical Environment Subcommittee with charter development, improvement goal setting and event reviews.
• 8. Prepares and/ or presents regular program updates to other enterprise level committees (PSC, AETH, LB) as needed.
• 9. Participates in learning analyses of physical environment safety events with a focus on high reliability systems.
• 10. Establishes and maintains a strong working relationship with enterprise level teams including NCCS, Regulatory & Accreditation and Service Departments.
• 11. Collaborates directly with other enterprise-level leaders across a variety of disciplines to meet program needs efficiently and effectively.
• 12. Partners with Data and Analytics team members to ensure rounding data is accessible to enterprise leaders.
• 13. Communicates data and program updates via regular reporting to Enterprise Leaders.

Education Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Required
• Master's Degree Preferred

Experience Qualifications

• At least five (5) years of quality improvement, process improvement, and/or project management experience in a complex healthcare system Required

• Strong understanding of process improvement and project management (Required proficiency)

• Strong experience partnering with Service Department and Clinical Leaders (Required proficiency)

• Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio (Required proficiency)
• Knowledge of organizational dynamics, change theory, reliability and safety science, improvement methods and tools, measurement and statistical process control (Required proficiency)
• Ability to work independently and take initiative when necessary (Required proficiency)
• Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines (Required proficiency)
• Strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communications skills including the ability to present work to audiences of all sizes (Required proficiency)
• Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work (Required proficiency)
• Change agent demeanor. Must be a flexible thinker, with an ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment. (Required proficiency)
• Competent in interpreting basic statistical measures (control charts) (Required proficiency)

Licenses and Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB) - 3M and various other issuing agencies - upon hire - Preferred
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) - National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) - upon hire - Preferred

SALARY RANGE

$107,200.00 - $142,100.00 Annually

Salary ranges are shown for full-time jobs. If you're working part-time, your pay will be adjusted accordingly.
