Canadian Resource Centre (CRC) is KPMG's offshore delivery model that supports Canadian engagement teams by providing audit, assurance, data analytics, and other engagement-related services. CRC professionals work alongside onshore teams to enhance efficiency, support quality delivery, and help engagement teams focus on higher-value client activities.
The CRC Manager will be assisting the audit business units and the CRC Champions network with monthly reporting and budget modelling so that they are able to manage their CRC objectives and related KPIs. Therefore, a primary role of the CRC Senior Manager is to provide direct support and guidance to both offshore and onshore teams so that Canadian audit engagement teams can effectively leverage the CRC on their audits and assurance engagements.
5+ years of experience working with a public practice accounting firm, with at least 3 years in a management role.
Manager or equivalent, having at least 2 years of experience with KPMG Canada or Big 4 or any professional services organizations.
Minimum 5 years auditing and/or team management experience.
Proficiency and knowledgeable with analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Power Query, Python, R, Alteryx, Microsoft PowerApps/Power Automate.
Proficiency and knowledge of ServiceNow is an asset. Resourcefulness and creative problem-solving skills – you are a proactive person and always come up with new ideas and ways of working forward.
Strong technical audit skills and varied audit experience.
Proven time management and organizational skills PCAOB accreditation is an asset. Superior written, and verbal communication skills in English is required.
Experience facilitating any of the Audit Foundations courses offered by KBS (or in a similar role) is an asset.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle varying priorities.
Thrives in a fast-paced, challenging team-based environment.
Values innovative thinking and looks for ways to improve processes.
Demonstrated mentoring and performance management skills. Excels at working independently and having ownership of tasks and areas of responsibility.
Innovative mindset and the ability to assess current processes and suggest improvements.
Comfortable working in both virtual and in-person environments. Advanced skills with MS Office and Adobe Products, such as Excel, PowerPoint, MS Forms, MS Teams, Outlook, etc.
This position requires written and oral fluency in English. The successful candidate may be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking colleagues or stakeholders while at KPMG. Information The expected base salary range for this position is $91,000 to $140,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills, & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.KPMG BC Region
