We're looking for a passionate, results-driven Group Sales Manager who thrives on developing new business, growing existing accounts, and delivering outstanding service from the first inquiry through the final departure.

What You'll Do

As our Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for generating group business that drives occupancy and revenue while delivering a seamless client experience.

Drive New Business

• Prospect and develop new group accounts across multiple market segments
• Respond promptly to RFPs and sales inquiries
• Convert leads into confirmed business through consultative selling
• Negotiate contracts that maximize revenue and profitability
• Develop strategic account plans for key clients
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline through proactive prospecting

Build Lasting Client Relationships

• Become a trusted partner for meeting planners and corporate clients
• Conduct engaging hotel site tours
• Host client meetings and networking events
• Maintain strong relationships before, during, and after each program
• Generate repeat business and referrals through exceptional service

Collaborate Across the Hotel

Work Closely With

• Operations
• Revenue Management
• Catering & Events
• Front Office
• Food & Beverage

to ensure every group experience exceeds expectations.

You'll monitor room blocks, pickup, concessions, and opportunities to maximize revenue while ensuring flawless execution.

Own Your Business

• Manage your assigned accounts
• Maintain accurate forecasting and sales activity
• Keep CRM and sales systems current
• Analyze production and booking pace
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue
• Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales goals

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hotel group sales experience
• Proven success selling group business
• Strong negotiation and closing skills
• Outstanding relationship-building abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Hyatt Hotels experience strongly preferred
• Experience with corporate, association, SMERF, government, or other group market segments
• Experience using Hyatt sales platforms, Cvent, Delphi, or similar hotel sales systems
• Knowledge of the New York City hospitality market
