Our client is looking for a Business Analyst to serve as the analytical engine of our clients Transformation Office. In this role, you will work cross-functionally to map how our client currently operate and design and how they can excel in the future. From process optimisation to exploring emerging AI tools, you will be at the absolute forefront of driving our clients organisational change.

The Role

PurposeAs a Business Analyst, you will support the delivery of critical transformation projects. You will be responsible for conducting structured analysis, documenting and redesigning business processes, gathering stakeholder requirements, and developing robust business cases and functional specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Analysis: Drive business analysis activities on assigned projects - including requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and option appraisals
• Process Design: Document current-state and target-state business processes to an exceptionally high standard.
• Project Delivery Assets: Develop business cases, functional specifications, and user acceptance testing (UAT) plans.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate workshops and structured interviews across all departments to capture diverse business needs.
• Framework Development: Support the design of our policy and process architecture framework, and contribute to data governance frameworks (specifically regarding process-level data requirements).PMO Support: Assist the Transformation Lead with programme portfolio administration and project reporting.
• Change Management: Champion training and change management activities alongside new process implementations.
• Skills & Experience

Required

The Essentials:

Experience: 1 to 3 years of proven experience in a Business Analysis, Process Improvement, or Operational Excellence role.

Methodologies: Solid exposure to process optimization, Lean, or Six Sigma principles.

Project Lifecycle: Demonstrated experience leading Projects and Change Requests from end-to-end.

Technical Skills

• Elite process mapping skills with high proficiency in Visio, Lucidchart, or equivalent tools.
• Systems Exposure: Experience working with ERP or CRM systems (e.g., Business Central, Salesforce, or similar).
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; a proven ability to translate complex, technical processes into accessible documentation.
• Mindset: An analytical mindset with sharp attention to detail and a highly structured approach to problem-solving.
• Education: Relevant qualification in Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Desirable (Nice to Have):
• Experience working within the Education or Finance sectors.
• Background in financial and administrative process environments.
• A forward-thinking understanding of emerging Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and tools, with an eye for identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and business performance.
