About XYZ RoboticsXYZ Robotics develops mobile manipulation robots for the logistics, retail, and warehousing sectors. Solutions include inbound container (un)loading and (de)palletizing, case picking, and G2R order picking. Our systems are deployed with leading logistics and retail operators across EMEA, APAC, ANZ and North America, including PepsiCo, P&G, GXO Logistics, Kuehne+Nagel, Nitori and Unis, etc.

We are now expanding into the US market and are looking for a Sales Manager to lead this growth.

The Role

As Sales Manager, you will own the full commercial cycle for the North American market: identifying and developing new business opportunities, engaging with prospective customers, and managing the sales process from initial lead through contract close.

You will act as the primary point of contact for US customers and represent XYZ Robotics' interests throughout technical, commercial, and contractual discussions, working closely with our engineering, operations, and solution teams based in China Headquarters.

This is a market-building role. You will be expected to develop the US pipeline largely independently, establish relationships with target accounts in retail, logistics, and third-party logistics (3PL), and bring deals from first contact to signed contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for robotic unloading and palletizing solutions across the US market
• Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities with retailers, logistics providers, and warehouse operators
• Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, needs assessment, solution presentation, commercial proposal, negotiation, and contract close
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at prospective and existing customer accounts
• Coordinate with technical, engineering, and operations teams in China to develop customer-specific solutions and proposals
• Support contract negotiation and review in coordination with the legal and commercial teams
• Represent XYZ Robotics at industry trade shows, conferences, and customer site visits
• Provide regular pipeline reporting and market feedback to senior management, including competitive intelligence and market sizing input
• Travel extensively across the US (50%+) to meet prospects, attend site visits, and support deployments

Requirements

• Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally in industrial automation, robotics, material handling, or logistics technology
• Demonstrated ability to manage a full sales cycle independently, from lead generation to deal close
• Strong learning agility — able to quickly absorb technical product details and translate it into customer value
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders from operations managers to C-level executives
• Valid US work authorization / legal right to work and reside in the United States
• Willingness and ability to travel 50%+ of the time across the USComfortable working independently in a fast-growing, cross-cultural organization spanning the US, Europe, and China
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience selling robotics, automation, or material handling solutions (AMR/AGV, palletizing, warehouse automation) in the North American market
• Existing network of contacts within retail, e-commerce, logistics, or 3PL operations
• Experience opening or scaling a new market/region for a technology or industrial company
• Mandarin language skills (advantageous for coordination with HQ, not required)
