Delivery Lead

As a Delivery Lead at ASB you play the driving role in overseeing the delivery of large programmes of work. Acting as the "lighthouse" along with key members of the change teams, you’ll provide strategic clarity and orchestration, to align and galvanise work around a common set of objectives.

We Have Two Distinct Roles Now AvailableCustomer Due Diligence – sitting in our Manage My Money Tribe and working closely with the Lead Product Owner to orchestrate work across multiple tribes and platforms, you’ll need to be a heavy hitter who has experience delivering enterprise-wide programmes. While not essential, past experience in financial crime, customer onboarding or AML is valuable.

Bring your wide knowledge and experience of delivery in and join a tight-knit, high functioning core programme team to lead and support work in teams across the organisation to uplift policies, processes, frameworks, data / products, and tech. Experience with risk and compliance programmes in banking preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Enabling sooner, better and safer delivery of the initiative’s objectives via amazing experiences for our customers and employees, within ASB's Delivery Framework.
• Driving ongoing engagement across the initiative to ensure all team members clearly understand our ambition and related objectives, the role they play in achieving these, and feel a sense of recognition and accomplishment as outcomes are achieved.
• Manage appropriate communication, governance, and consolidated reporting to multiple senior stakeholder groups.
• Manage the risks, issues and dependencies across the initiative, and also where the initiative is impacted from other work happening in the bank.
• Ensuring the initiative has sufficient and appropriate dedicated resources and financials are effectively managed.
• Engagement with senior leaders across ASB and CBA (e.g. Risk, Audit, Business Units, Technology, Strategy etc) to build partnerships.

About you

Both roles require a demonstrated ability to think strategically, provide clarity across teams, and deliver challenging outcomes.

To demonstrate these traits successfully, you'd likely have at least 5 years' experience managing multiple complex programmes of work within financial services/banking environments.

• We’re Looking For
• Breadth of experience at a senior leadership level, including areas such as business efficiency, customer experience, agile transformation, project delivery, governance, strategy and people leadership working in a regulated environment
• Wide-ranging business management experience, leading portfolios of people, resources and budgets to deliver successful outcomes
• Demonstrated technology, business and strategic planning and/or change management experience
• The ability to successfully navigate through complex environments at pace
• Highly developed stakeholder management skills at a senior level cross functionally
• Proven credibility to drive and influence people and manage significant change with people at all levels.
