Role Description

This is a full-time Business Development Manager role, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from remote sites. The Business Development Manager will identify and develop new business opportunities in key markets such as AI, cloud and Data Center, while expanding relationships with channel partners.

Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting product presentations and demos, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts. The role will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, product management, and support teams to align go-to-market strategies, gather market feedback, and drive revenue growth.

The Business Development Manager will also analyze market trends, track competitive activities, and provide regular reporting and forecasting to leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong business development and sales skills, including prospecting, lead qualification, account management, and deal negotiation in US/Canada markets.
• Experience in technology or storage solutions markets, with the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Skills in market research, competitive analysis, and strategic planning to identify growth opportunities and refine go-to-market approaches.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills for working with customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience in data storage technology sales or business development is also valued.
• Prior experience in storage, IT infrastructure, Data Center or related sectors is a plus, as is experience with channel and partner ecosystems.
