About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Principal Systems Analyst to join a leading Asset Management Technology team. You will act as a key link between business stakeholders and technology teams, helping define requirements, improve processes and deliver scalable technology solutions within a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business and system requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Analyse existing workflows and identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
• Work closely with business, technology and product teams to deliver solutions.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops and solution demonstrations.
• Support system integration, testing and UAT.Use SQL and data analysis to validate requirements and support decision-making.
• Maintain clear and accurate technical, process and requirements documentation.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across systems and processes.
• Key Skills & Experience5–8+ years' experience as an IT Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst or similar.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, systems analysis and stakeholder management.
• Good understanding of SDLC and software development methodologies.
• Experience with system integration, APIs and web services.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases such as Oracle.
• Experience with AWS / cloud-based solutions.
• Experience writing user stories, functional requirements and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Financial Services experience is preferred, particularly Asset Management, Investment Management or Wealth Management.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
