About the Company

The role is with a boutique eCommerce agency based in Sydney, specialising in premium digital experiences for established and growing eCommerce brands.

They're a lean team of around 20 people across Design, Engineering, Strategy and Client Success, creating a collaborative environment where people have genuine ownership and work closely across disciplines.

The agency works on larger, more complex eCommerce projects and is known for combining strong design and technical delivery with a commercial understanding of its clients' businesses.

About the Role

This is a Project & Delivery Lead position with a strong focus on ensuring work across the agency is properly planned, resourced and delivered.

The role is primarily project-led, overseeing multiple complex digital and eCommerce projects, with some exposure to ongoing retainer work. You'll work across Client Success, Design and Engineering to keep projects moving, identify risks early and ensure work is delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.

It's broader than simply managing your own individual projects. You'll have visibility across the agency's delivery pipeline and take responsibility for areas including capacity planning, resourcing, forecasting, timelines, budgets, scope and project profitability.

You'll also work closely with discipline leads to improve delivery processes and ways of working as the agency continues to grow.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading delivery across multiple digital and eCommerce projects
• Managing agency capacity, resourcing and forecasting
• Tracking project timelines, budgets, scope and profitability
• Identifying risks, blockers and delivery issues early
• Coordinating cross-functional teams across Design, Engineering and Client Success
• Improving project planning, processes and reporting
• Supporting and coaching client-facing and delivery team members
• Working with discipline leads to improve how projects are delivered
• Maintaining clear communication with internal stakeholders and clients throughout delivery

• Strong experience within a digital, eCommerce or software agency environment
• Experience managing complex digital projects and cross-functional teams
• Strong project and delivery management skills
• Confidence managing multiple projects and competing priorities
• Commercial awareness across budgets, scope, utilisation and project profitability
• Experience with resource planning, capacity management and forecasting
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• A proactive, structured and solutions-focused approach
• Shopify, Shopify Plus or broader eCommerce experience is highly regarded
• This would suit someone who enjoys being at the centre of delivery — bringing together clients, developers, designers and internal teams while keeping an eye on the bigger picture across resourcing, commercial performance and project quality.
