Principal, Strategy & Business Development, Amazon Fashion

We are seeking an experienced business development leader to drive Fashion Strategy and brand recruitment for top brands and our most critical growth initiatives.

This leader must have proven analytical capabilities and project management skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task and a proven record of driving category growth. This individual must be an effective driver and communicator in working with some of Amazon.com most important future vendors as well as with internal colleagues and cross-functional leaders.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for retail and a high level of flexibility and commitment.

As a customer-obsessed fashion enthusiast, you will influence and build relationships with top brands to drive revenue, increase selection, and influence the broader Fashion strategic roadmap. You are deep on retail trends and understand how retail fits into the online ecosystem.

Using your deep knowledge of retail and fashion and a solution-oriented mindset you will develop opportunities for Amazon within the Fashion vertical. You are an excellent oral and written communicator and you possess an analytical approach to business development, leveraging data to drive decisions. You are highly organized and have the ability to work closely and constructively cross-functional teams.

You're particularly adept at developing strong, one-to-one relationships and possess a track record of successful negotiation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 9+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
• 9+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
• Experience developing and executing on GTM strategies that are large in scope
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in the Fashion, Fitness, or Consumer Product industries

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• MBA
• Experience in Fashion industry planning, strategy, or corporate development role
• Experience developing, deploying and managing AI products at scale
• Experience building scalable programs and repeatable scalable processes, levering various tools and methods to create scale and efficiency

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
