Sales Manager

This role will lead both inside and outside sales teams while partnering closely with ownership and senior leadership to elevate sales processes, strengthen customer relationships, and support long-term expansion across technical products and service solutions.

Duties

• Lead, mentor, and develop inside and outside sales teams across day-to-day operations and long-term performance growth.
• Build greater structure, consistency, and accountability across the sales process and customer lifecycle.
• Establish sales goals, KPIs, forecasting tools, and reporting metrics to support strategic decision-making.
• Analyze pipeline activity and sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Partner with senior leadership on pricing strategy, market positioning, customer growth, and business development initiatives.
• Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and site visits to strengthen relationships and support key opportunities.
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on teamwork, responsiveness, customer service, and continuous improvement.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and professional development of team members.
• Work cross-functionally with operations, engineering, service, and leadership teams to ensure strong execution and customer success.
• Oversee CRM utilization, sales forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline management processes.

Requirements

• Proven sales leadership experience within industrial products, engineered equipment, manufacturing, technical services, or related sectors - previous people leadership of salespeople is mandatory.
• Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold teams accountable.
• Highly analytical mindset with experience using data and metrics to improve sales effectiveness and operational structure.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on leadership and execution.
• Experience managing CRM systems, sales forecasting, budgeting, and KPI reporting.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable traveling regularly for customer meetings and business development activity.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel internationally when required.

• Performance-based bonus and commission structure.
• Target earnings of $150,000–$200,000+ by Year 2/3.
