Workplace and Locations Delivery Manager - 18 Months Fixed Term Contract - BPL

In this Workplace & Locations Delivery Manager role, you will lead the delivery of workplace and location transformation initiatives that support the strategic separation and evolution of Barclaycard Payments from Barclays.

You will act as a key delivery lead across a complex, multi-year transformation programme, managing integrated plans to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within budget and in line with regulatory and governance requirements.

You will drive execution from mobilisation through to implementation, ensuring workplace readiness, operational continuity and minimal disruption to business operations, while helping to shape future ways of working for Barclaycard Payments.

You will coordinate cross-functional delivery across workplace, facilities, HR, technology, security, compliance, communications and business teams, engaging both internal and external stakeholders to maintain alignment and momentum. You will provide leadership across multiple concurrent workstreams, proactively resolving issues and managing dependencies within a highly matrixed, regulated environment.

Drawing on your experience delivering complex workplace, organisational or location transformation projects, you will bring exceptional stakeholder management, execution capability and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguity while leading complex change.

To be successful as a Workplace & Locations Delivery Manager, you will have experience with:

• Transformation delivery experience (workplace, organisational, or location change).
• Project delivery management capability in complex environments.
• Cross-functional stakeholder management across matrix organisations.
• Working within regulated industries (e.g. banking, fintech, insurance).
• Ability to execute complex change initiatives end-to-end.

Other Desirable Skills include

• Location strategy, workplace transformation, or facilities change.
• Organisational separation, carve-outs, or restructuring programmes.
• Experience in high-investment, large-scale transformation programmes.

Your role will be located from our London or Northampton office.

Purpose of the role

To manage change projects that help the organisation achieve its strategic objectives, while ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, in control and in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.

Accountabilities

• Management of change projects within the organisation, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Development and management of project plans that outline the scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for change projects.
• Communication with stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners, to ensure that they are informed about project progress and that their needs and expectations are being met.
• Management of project teams, ensuring that they are properly resourced and that they have the necessary skills and expertise to deliver on project objectives.
• Management of project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within the agreed budget.
• Creation of reports on project progress to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
• Management of project risks, ensuring that risk, assumptions, issues and dependencies are identified, assessed, and mitigated as necessary.
• Facilitation of change management activities, including training and communication, to ensure that change projects are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.
