A unique opportunity has arisen for an Investment Analyst to join a well-established private investment organisation with a long-term investment philosophy and a highly diversified portfolio.

Working as part of a small, experienced investment team, this role offers broad exposure across multiple asset classes and the opportunity to contribute directly to investment research, manager selection, portfolio monitoring and strategic investment decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct detailed investment research and due diligence across a range of investment opportunities.
Support the evaluation and selection of external investment managers and investment funds.
Monitor existing investments and prepare regular performance and investment reports.
Assist in portfolio analysis, asset allocation reviews and investment strategy discussions.
Prepare high-quality reports and presentations for senior stakeholders and investment committees.
Liaise with external investment managers, custodians and professional advisers.
Attend investment presentations, conferences and industry events where appropriate.
Ensure investment reporting is delivered accurately and within agreed deadlines.
Support governance, compliance and regulatory requirements as required.
Contribute to a variety of investment-related projects across the wider team.

About You

2–5 years' experience within investment management, investment consulting, wealth management, pensions, manager research or a similar investment environment.

Strong understanding of investment markets and portfolio analysis.

Experience analysing investment funds and monitoring investment performance.

Excellent analytical and numerical skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Advanced Excel skills with strong PowerPoint and reporting capability.

Comfortable working with investment data and financial analysis.CFA qualified or actively progressing through the CFA programme would be highly advantageous.

Strong communication skills with the ability to present investment analysis clearly and concisely.

Naturally curious with a genuine interest in financial markets and investing.
