Position Summary

The successful candidate will will support strategic and operational decision-making by providing insightful financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting. This role partners closely with business unit leaders to evaluate performance, identify trends, and drive sales growth, profitability, and efficiency improvements.

The role requires the incumbent to be able to identify, investigate, understand and articulate trends. The successful candidate will need to be able to illustrate a proven ability to present data in a form that can quickly and efficiently aide analysis and decision making. In doing so, the ideal candidate will need to work using own initiative to enhance existing and develop new reporting.

Principal

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with variance analysis and commentary.
• Assist with preparation and oversight of Annual Operating Plan and forecasts for the region, aligning with global targets and monitoring variances throughout the year.
• Provide clear, accurate and in-depth analysis of the financial performance of the business unit, including revenue, costs, margins, and profitability.
• Partner with commercial teams on expense reviews.
• Co-ordination of the forecasting and budgeting process for the business unit.
• Partner with BU cross-functional teams to understand business drivers to support and inform decision making on an ongoing basis.
• Identify risks and opportunities and recommend actions to improve financial outcomes.
• Support pricing, cost analysis, and investment appraisals for new initiatives or projects.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and corporate policies.
• Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to aid business planning and decision-making.
• Education / Experience

Requirements

• Experience with SAP is essential.3+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within a business unit or commercial environment
• Relevant Third Level Degree & Qulaified CIMA, ACCA, CPA, Chatered Accountant
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English is required
