Position Overview

Arabic Teacher - British Curriculum in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is a full-time Education sector role for a qualified Arabic teaching professional with strong classroom experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and mandatory B.Ed qualification.

This role is suitable for a teacher with at least 2 years of Arabic teaching experience, preferably within a British curriculum school, and the ability to support students in developing Arabic language skills through structured, engaging, and curriculum-aligned lessons.

Key Responsibilities* Teach Arabic to students in line with school curriculum standards and academic expectations.* Prepare and deliver engaging Arabic lessons that support reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and vocabulary development.* Create lesson plans, classroom activities, worksheets, assessments, and learning resources that meet student needs.* Support students in building confidence and fluency in Arabic language communication.* Assess student progress through classwork, homework, oral activities, written tasks, tests, and examinations.* Provide constructive feedback to help students improve language accuracy, comprehension, and performance.* Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, lesson plans, assessments, and student progress.* Apply effective classroom management strategies to maintain a positive, respectful, and focused learning environment.* Support differentiated instruction to meet the needs of students with different ability levels.* Encourage student participation through interactive learning, discussion, reading practice, and language-based activities.* Collaborate with colleagues, coordinators, and school leadership to maintain high teaching standards.* Communicate professionally with students, parents, and internal school teams when required.* Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures, and student wellbeing expectations.* Contribute to school activities, cultural events, and wider academic initiatives when assigned.

Ideal Profile* Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.* B.Ed qualification is mandatory.* Minimum 2 years of experience as an Arabic Teacher is required.* Experience in British curriculum schools is preferred.* Strong knowledge of Arabic language teaching methods and classroom instruction.* Good classroom management and student engagement skills.* Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.* Ability to prepare effective lesson plans, assessments, and learning resources.* Professional, responsible, and committed to student development.* Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, coordinators, and school leadership.* Candidates under sponsor or spouse visa are preferred.* Candidates available to join as per school requirement will be preferred.
