Chief Financial Officer / VP Finance - AI focused Data Centre

A high-growth, PE-backed AI data centre developer and operator with an established footprint across key Asian markets is appointing its founding finance leader to build and run the finance function from the ground up. This is an ideal next step for a senior finance professional currently at VP Finance, Finance Director or Regional Controller level with strong accounting and controllership foundations and a genuine understanding of how capital-intensive digital infrastructure businesses work financially.

What you'll be doing

• Build and own the full finance function from scratch - accounting, reporting, controls, treasury, tax and multi-jurisdiction compliance across Asia
• Establish accounting policies, chart of accounts, ERP systems, and audit frameworks suited to a PE-backed development-stage platform
• Manage multi-entity consolidation, month-end close, and management reporting across Asian markets
• Partner with the CEO and fund partners on financial planning, capex governance, and investor reporting
• Oversee statutory compliance, tax structuring, and regulatory filings across Singapore and regional jurisdictions
• Support fundraising, asset-level financial modelling, and LP reporting as the platform matures
• Build and develop the finance team over time as the platform scales

What we're looking for

• CPA/CA qualified with a Big Four audit foundation preferred15+ years progressive finance experience, currently at VP Finance, Finance Director, or Regional Controller level
• Strong accounting and controllership background: multi-entity consolidation, IFRS, audit management
• Data centre, digital infrastructure, real assets or capital-intensive sector experience strongly preferred
• Multi-market APAC finance operations: Singapore essential and exposure to Malaysia, Japan or Korea a plus
• Comfortable building from zero in a lean, fast-moving environment
• Business-level Mandarin preferred
• Based in Singapore
