Data Management & Service Delivery Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking a Data Management & Service Delivery Lead to oversee data operations, service performance, and issue management within a fast-paced enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will lead data investigations, drive operational excellence, manage stakeholder communications, and collaborate with business and technology teams to ensure reliable, high-quality data services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead data issue investigations, identify root causes, and implement remediation plans to improve data quality and operational stability.
• Manage data incidents, stakeholder communications, escalations, and service delivery reviews with internal and external partners.
• Monitor service performance, analyze trends, establish service targets, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to assess data impacts, system changes, and performance requirements.
• Ensure effective change management, compliance, audit controls, business continuity, and risk mitigation practices.
• Provide technical and team leadership while maintaining operational documentation, training materials, and process standards.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Management, Data Operations, or Service Delivery, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, relational databases, JSON, and XML.
• Experience with ETL processes, data integration, pipeline monitoring, and data warehouse concepts.
• Knowledge of data architecture, schema design, and data modeling principles.
• Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders across multiple geographic locations.
• Strong client-service orientation with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Preferred Skills

• Financial services or banking industry experience.
• Experience managing production support, service management, and operational controls.
