Accountant — International SME Fintech Summary

You'll join a fast-growing international fintech providing flexible funding solutions to SMEs. Originally launched in Australia, the business now operates across APAC and Europe and has funded more than $1.5B in loans.

What you'll do

• Manage the accounts inbox, making sure urgent or important items are prioritised and escalated appropriately
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and keep loan transactions accurately recorded
• Process supplier invoices, validate supplier bank details, maintain supplier records, and send remittance advices
• Reconcile company credit card transactions and prepare staff expense reimbursements for review and approval
• Support commission pay runs, including updating payment status in Orgmeter
• Help deliver accurate month-end reporting through P&L support, balance sheet and control account reconciliations, and follow-up on discrepancies

Who we're looking for This will suit you if you're an early-career accountant who enjoys hands-on finance operations work and takes accuracy seriously.

Must-haves

• Early-career accountant or assistant accountant experience, with the confidence to run day-to-day accounting tasks accurately while supporting a senior finance team
• Hands-on experience across bank reconciliations, accounts payable, invoice processing, expense and credit card reconciliations, and month-end reporting support
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Luxembourg accounting experience
• German language capability

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in financial services, lending, fintech, or another regulated environment
• Experience in a fast-growing, international, multi-entity, or high-volume transaction environment
• Confidence managing multi-entity transactions and reconciliations
