About the Role

As a Technology Delivery Manager at OAK Global, reporting into the Technology & Development Lead based in London, you will play a central role in connecting business priorities with product and technology delivery.

Working in a fast-paced environment this is a hands-on delivery-focused role. Ideal for an innovative thinker with a passion for aligning business needs with the latest technological solutions and a strong technical project management background.

This pivotal role will drive the implementation of the company’s technology strategy, ensuring it supports the goals of the business.

Working between business stakeholders, engineering, and external vendors. Shaping roadmaps, prioritising backlogs, and landing outcomes that align to the enterprise technology strategy set by the Technology leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Project & Delivery Management:
• Own delivery for end-to-end workstreams: scope, plan, RAID, budget, resourcing, and vendor coordination - aligning outcomes to time, cost, and quality.
• Run agile ways of working: backlog, sprint planning/reviews, stand-ups, and
• Elicit and refine requirements into clear user stories, process maps, and acceptance criteria across underwriting, claims, exposure management, actuarial, finance, and operations.
• Change Management
• Internally across teams
• Vendor & Partner Management:
• Manage technology vendors to ensure delivery and performance standards are achieved
• Partner with vendors to ensure OAK technology delivers agreed value
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Align priorities and communicate progress and risk to senior leadership with clear, data-led reporting via project tooling
• Build strong working knowledge and relationships with OAKs core teams
• Drive cohesive delivery of technology initiatives in partnership with stakeholders
• Continuous improvement:
• Identify automation, workflow optimisation, and data-quality opportunities to improve time-to-value.
• Governance & compliance:
• Embed controls for data integrity, security, and regulatory obligations (e.g., GDPR, Solvency II/Lloyd’s oversight).
• Maintain governance frameworks to uphold data integrity and security.
• What We’re looking For:
• Delivery leader with BA depth: comfortable switching between delivery planning and detailed analysis.
• Experience in leading complex technology projects and delivering scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Experience with both in-house software development and third-party system integration.
• Technical fluency: confident discussing APIs, data models, integrations, and cloud/SaaS trade-offs with engineers and vendors.
• Influential communicator: able to simplify complexity and build consensus quickly.
• Commercial mindset: connect technology decisions to measurable business outcomes.
• Insurance/London Market familiarity: experience in (re)insurance or FS, ideally across underwriting, DA/binders, Risk Analytics, exposure, and actuarial/finance processes.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels of an organisation.A passion for executing strategic roadmaps that enable growth and transformation
• Nice to have:
• Experience delivering both in-house development and third-party system integrations.
• Experience with AWS (e.g., IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway) and familiarity with cloud-native patterns.
• Experience with Data Warehouse implementation and strategy
• Familiarity with market initiatives and standards (e.g., ACORD data standards, bordereaux and sanctions controls, market modernisation).
• Working Knowledge of Generative and Argentic AIExperience of implementing ML / AI solutions
• Key initial delivery expectations:
• Oversee and manage delivery of workstreams from OAKS Core initiatives
• Work with Development Lead to increase bandwidth across delivery allowing for delivery of multiple initiatives
• Support growing Technology Development resource to scale with delivery demands
