Key Responsibities The Senior Bookkeeper / Management Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Bondi Junction. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and managing the general ledger.

The role includes producing timely financial statements and management reports, monitoring cash flow and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The successful candidate will oversee daily bookkeeping operations, ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, and collaborate with internal stakeholders on financial analysis to support decision-making.

Additional responsibilities may include working on improving financial processes, and supporting operational teams with clear, data-driven insights.

About You

• 5+ years’ experience in bookkeeping, management accounting, or SME finance roles
• Advanced Xero experience (essential); Xero certification highly regarded
• Experience with Cin7 or similar inventory/accounting systems highly regarded
• Strong understanding of P&L, Balance Sheets, journal entries, accruals, and cash flow forecasting
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational business environment
• Experience in logistics, eCommerce, wholesale, or inventory-based businesses highly regarded
• Strong Excel skills and ability to manage data across multiple systems
• Someone who takes ownership and ensures nothing slips through the cracks
