What you'll do

• Provide advice, support, and consultation on broad ranging employee matters, and guidance around administration and interpretation of policies and employment issues.
• Investigate colleague complaints and concerns; obtain relevant documentation and data via interviews; provide advice and take necessary steps to resolve on behalf of GBT
• Advise, guide and resolve cases, with an aim to always provide a positive work environment for all colleagues
• Partner with leaders to deliver training on best practice, strategies for managing problems, and responding to colleague grievances.
• Support analysis of casework trends, survey results, escalations, and complaints to determine areas of opportunity to improve work environment and culture
• Support end-to-end people processes through developing and maintaining a positive, value add relationship with business leaders and HR colleagues

What we're looking for

• Experience in HR, ideally with exposure to employee relations. In lieu of experience, you’ll have a degree in Human Resources, or CIPD (level 3).
• Absolute attention to detail. I’s dotted, T’s crossed; you focus on producing work to the highest standards
• You’re a self-starter with a growth mindset. You thrive in fast-paced, engaging environments
• Outstanding communication skills. You listen actively, advise kindly, speak with authority when needed, and write clearly and consistently.
• Cool, calm and collected: you are tactful, quick thinking, and persuasive in controversial and/or confrontational situations.
• Natural intellectual curiosity and a passion for your own learning and development; enhancing current skills and nurturing new ones to positively impact the work you do, and the people you partner with
