Operations Officer

Job Purpose

The Operations officer will support the Operations Team in ensuring the efficient, accurate, and timely processing of transactions. This role involves working closely with various departments to maintain smooth operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Task:

Transaction Processing: Ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions in the bank’s systems, including money transfers, cheques, market executed trades, corporate action events, and trade confirmations.

Transaction Settlements: complete timely transactions settlement, including coordination with brokers, banks, custodians, and other external counterparties.

Data Management: Maintain and update records in the bank’s systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy, and complete periodic reconciliation to confirm data accuracy.

Reporting: generate and analyze periodic reports on operational activities, identifying areas for improvement.

Client Support: Liaise with other departments and provide support to resolve operational issues and provide excellent client service.

Compliance: Familiarize with the bank’s internal policies and external regulations and assist in ensuring all operations tasks comply with the policies and regulations.

System Improvement: Participate in the development and implementation of the bank’s IT systems projects to enhance operational efficiency.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring a risk-free environment.

Skills
