FP&A Analyst

In line with Griffin’s intention to grow its FP&A team to meet the demands of the team in the coming years, the position of FP&A Analyst is being created with a view to assisting with the requirements of the FP&A team.

Reporting to the Head of FP&A, this position will have responsibility for assisting with analyzing past, present and future financial data of all entities in the Griffin Group and any entities which it manages. Set out below are the main responsibilities of the role. Tasks include but are not limited to the following:

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain spreadsheets and statistical models for financial analysis and corporate projection purposes.
• Support preparation of cash flow forecasts and servicer budgets.
• Includes preparation of analysis files, review of forecast changes and preparation of commentaries, tables, and graphs to be shared with senior management.
• Support preparation of Board packs and management presentations.
• Reporting of weekly and monthly revenue and profitability analysis by entity.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns in complex data sets.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand financial performance and support strategic planning.
• Develop and enhance financial models and forecasting.
• Gain a deep understanding of revenue and cost drivers in business.
• Any ad hoc tasks which the Head of FP&A might feel are appropriate.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA). Potential candidates will have experience in a financial reporting role, preferably with exposure to the Aviation sector.
• Advanced financial modelling, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Knowledge of various accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS, etc.) with demonstrated experience in preparation of Financial Statements in accordance with relevant standards.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated, looking to help build and grow the business.
• Role will be Dublin office based.
