Management Accountant - Property Management

Buckden Partners has been mandated by a leading Property Management operator, managing 12,500+ homes across the UK, who are looking to appoint a Management Accountant to support their continued growth.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you'll take ownership of the month-end process, management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting, while playing a key role in improving processes and supporting business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts with insightful commentary
• Own balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting
• Support budgeting, forecasting and business planning
• Prepare VAT returns and assist with year-end audits
• Analyse financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Drive process improvements across finance systems and controls
• Mentor a junior member of the finance team

What we're looking for

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
• 3+ years' post-qualified experience
• Strong management accounting, reporting and reconciliation experience
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
• Strong Excel skills and experience using Sage or similar accounting systems
• Property sector experience is beneficial but not essential
