Agile Business Analyst (27968)What is the opportunity?

We are looking for an Agile Business Analyst to help us to continue to build best in class digital platforms. The Agile Business Analyst will shape the understanding and implementation of new features and functionalities, optimizing operational process along the way.

In this role, you will:

Work with business users to elicit high-level requirements and capture business needs, translate into epics / stories and identify associated candidate improvements from the current backlog.

• Assess the risks of various solutions and prioritise competing business demands
• Lead ongoing relationship with business SMEs to ensure core understanding of business operations to support generation of high quality design solutions aligned to business need
• Liaise with Scrum Masters, POs and engineers to translate business requirements into user stories, functional and technical with validated acceptance criteria.
• Undertake change management activities like change readiness, communication, training and support go live
• Implement design reviews and walk-throughs to communicate designs and validate proposed solutions, utilising prototypes and wireframes where appropriate.

What will make you stand out?

We are seeking a candidate with significant experience and knowledge of supporting change in a Financial services/Insurance servicing business.

You will need experience using Agile Business Analyst tooling, such as Figma, Axure, Miro, Jira, Confluence and Visio as well as experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools. 5 years plus in a business analyst role is required to be considered for this role.

Holding Qualifications in any of the following will help you to stand out but is not necessary in order to apply for this role;Business Analyst Qualifications advantageous (e.g IIBA, ISEB)Project Management Qualifications advantageous (e.g IPMA, PMP, PRINCE2)Formal software QA experience advantageousEssential

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in one of the following or related area: Business, Finance, Data Analysis, IT or information Management.

More about the teamThe Agile Business Analyst position is part of the I.T group within the Wealth and Insurance business unit. The team comprises a dynamic and dedicated mix of I.T professionals across the entire Software Delivery Lifecycle. The role will have a significant impact in designing, developing and enhancing our primary customer facing digital applications.
