An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Personal Tax Semi Senior to join a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants based in North London.

With around 25 staff, the firm provides accountancy and taxation services to a broad portfolio of individuals, owner-managed businesses and SMEs. They are now looking to recruit a Personal Tax Accountant with 2-3 years’ UK practice experience to join their friendly and established tax team.

The Role

• Preparing and submitting self-assessment tax returns.
• Preparing P11Ds where required.
• Liaising with clients to obtain tax information.
• Dealing with HMRC correspondence and queries.
• Ensuring all returns are completed accurately and submitted within deadlines.
• Assisting with the administration of a varied personal tax portfolio.

The Successful Candidate

• Around 2-3 years’ personal tax experience gained within a UK accountancy practice.
• Experience preparing Self Assessment Tax Returns.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Good communication skills and a professional approach.
• The ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines.
