Are you an experienced Operations Manager or Practice Manager looking for a role where you can genuinely influence business performance, compliance, people, and strategy?

We're partnering with a highly respected, boutique Chartered IFA firm seeking a driven and commercially minded Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the business and play a key role in its continued growth and success.

This is a broad and varied position, offering exposure across operations, finance, compliance, HR, technology, and business management. Reporting directly to the Directors, you'll be the operational heart of the organisation, ensuring processes run efficiently, regulatory obligations are met, and the business continues to deliver exceptional results.

The Opportunity

As Operations Manager, you'll take ownership of

Financial operations, fee reconciliations, introducer payments and banking processes

Regulatory and compliance oversight, including FCA liaison, reporting, CPD management, T&C oversight, file review monitoring and committee leadership

HR responsibilities including recruitment, employee reviews, contracts, staff engagement and incentives

Company administration, IT systems, business planning, board meetings, supplier management and marketing initiatives

Process improvement, operational efficiency and business performance reporting (MI) include various project management oversight

What We're Looking For

You'll be a highly organised professional with experience gained within a regulated environment, ideally financial services.

Essential requirements

• 5+ years' experience in Operations, Business Support, Practice Management or Senior Administration
• Experience managing and developing teams
• Degree educated or equivalent
• Strong operational, financial and compliance understanding
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with business systems and financial software
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills

Desirable

• Level 4 Diploma
• PRINCE2 qualification
• Experience working within FCA-regulated businesses
