We're looking for a Business Analyst with a strong background in global banking and investment markets, who enjoys working across the full project lifecycle and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The Role

As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll play a key role in driving enhancements to a critical Financial Reporting and Control application. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and fellow Business Analysts to deliver high-quality solutions while providing support on complex issues where required.

This is a hands-on role that combines business analysis, stakeholder engagement, project delivery, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.
• Drive initiatives across a key Financial Reporting and Control platform.
• Work across the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering through to delivery and implementation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and project teams to deliver effective solutions.
• Support and mentor Business Analysts within the wider team.
• Assist with complex production support issues escalated from front-line support.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and controls while ensuring business objectives are met.

About You

Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst within global banking or investment banking.

Strong understanding of investment markets and financial products.

Solid knowledge of financial accounting principles and financial reporting.

Experience delivering projects through the full software development lifecycle.
