We are seeking a strong Employee Relations Manager to join our Amazon Australia Operations team, to be based in either Sydney or Melbourne.
The central objective of Amazon's global operations employee relations team is to ensure our organisation's treatment of employees is fair, respectful, and consistent with our framework of core business values and objectives. To support that objective, this position's responsibilities fall into proactive and reactive categories, focused on providing exceptional employee experience.
You will have deep subject matter knowledge, exceptional communication skills and the ability to work cross functionally on a wide range of employee relations initiatives.
This is a highly visible and varied role, working with senior operations leadership teams. The successful candidate will influence decision making and direct the business into the future.

Key job responsibilities Champion employee interests and build long-term relationships across diverse operational teams Partner with and influence Site Leaders and HR to design, implement, and sustain positive employee relations programs tailored to the Australian business environment Localise global ER tools, training, and communications for the Australian workforce Collect, analyse, and act on employee feedback and workforce data to proactively identify trends and resolve employee concerns Support Operations and HR with complex case management Deliver proactive employee relations training and communications across the business Lead large-scale, country-wide initiatives that elevate the overall employee experience
