Our platform covers more than 700 FTAs and connects trade compliance, procurement, and supply chain decisions in real time.

About the Role

We are looking for an individual sales professional or sales director to help turn Besso’s early commercial momentum into a repeatable enterprise sales engine.

This is a hands-on role for someone who likes being "in the trenches" and enjoys the building stage: shaping the ICP, opening doors, creating pipeline, leading complex enterprise conversations, and closing strategic customers.

You will not (yet) be building a team, but you will work closely with the founders, product, regulatory, and customer teams to translate Besso’s value into compelling business cases for senior decision-makers.

You should be excited by AI, global supply chains, trade compliance, and the opportunity to sell a solution that addresses a real and growing pain point. This is not a role for someone who wants a finished playbook. It is for someone who can help write the playbook, test it in the market, and improve it every week.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the revenue funnel end to end: identify target accounts, build pipeline, qualify opportunities, lead evaluations and pilots, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
• Build and refine a focused ICP across global food & beverage, FMCG, CPG, and other relevant sectors.
• Engage senior stakeholders across supply chain, procurement, trade compliance, finance, legal, and executive leadership.
• Develop clear ROI cases that show how Besso can unlock savings, reduce risk, and improve supply chain decision-making.
• Turn founder-led sales into a more structured, repeatable commercial motion.
• Work closely with founders, product, regulatory experts, and customer teams to win complex enterprise deals.
• Represent Besso at selected events, conferences, and industry conversations to create visibility and generate demand.
• Help shape Besso’s commercial strategy, pricing approach, sales materials, partner opportunities, and expansion motion.
• Do whatever else is needed to win, learn, and build — as is normal in a start-up company.
• We’re Looking for Someone Who Has 5-10 years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience, ideally including enterprise sales.
• Has consistently met or exceeded ambitious revenue targets.
• Has experience selling supply chain, procurement, trade compliance, and/or related enterprise SaaS solutions.
• Understands how to navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, procurement, legal, finance, IT, and executive sponsors.
• Has a strong network with relevant personas in global food & beverage, FMCG, CPG, supply chain, procurement, or trade compliance.
• Is comfortable selling a category-shaping solution where the customer may not yet have a clearly defined budget or buying process.
• Enjoys prospecting and pipeline creation rather than waiting for inbound demand.
• Can move fluidly between strategic account planning and hands-on execution.
• Is commercially rigorous, creative in problem-solving, and strong at building business cases.
• Has experience in high-growth, entrepreneurial, or startup environments.
• Is comfortable with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and international teams.
• Is willing to travel and meet customers face to face when it matters.
• Is based in Switzerland or nearby.
