Location: Manchester

I’m supporting a leading organisation looking to hire an Financial Accountant on a 12‑month FTC. This sits within a high‑performing Record to Report (RTR) function and plays a key role in ensuring accurate, aligned intercompany balances across a large, multi‑entity group.

They’re open to someone with intercompany experience OR a newly qualified auditor (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) looking for their first move into industry.

The role includes

• Processing intercompany journals and ensuring compliance with controls
• Monthly reconciliations and variance resolution
• Acting as a key contact between business units to resolve discrepancies
• Supporting settlement of intercompany balances
• Month‑end close activities
• Contributing to process improvements, automation and finance transformation
• Supporting audit requests and documentation
• Participating in system testing and continuous improvement

What they’re looking for

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) - first‑time movers welcome
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and controls
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle Fusion ideal, but not essential)
• Analytical, detail‑driven and confident working with stakeholders
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, evolving finance environment
